Judge Austin served as an Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Attorney\u2019s Office in the Northern District of Alabama from 2002 to 2010. She served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Madison County District Attorney&#8217;s Office from 1997 &#8211; 2002 where she served in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Unit.\u00a0 Judge Austin has served on many boards and\u00a0has been a member of many associations such as the Huntsville\/Madison County Leadership Program, the Junior League of Huntsville and the Foster Children&#8217;s Alliance.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hon.
